About Scott

Scott is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional who has worked in the finance industry for more than 15 years.

He has held banking positions at several major financial institutions including Westpac, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and NAB, and has experience working across business banking, wholesale investment banking and commercial banking.

He specialises in assisting clients with securing business finance and restructuring corporate debt, and is proficient at understanding client needs, forecasting the future cash position and financial health of businesses, and streamlining working capital to create business strength. Scott predominantly works in the unsecured business lending space and helps clients to secure funding for cash flow and working capital as opposed to property-backed finance. He is highly experienced when it comes to the working capital cycle and is adept at interpreting balance sheets and income statements, generating cash flow projections and unlocking inefficiencies.

He is a determined and assertive person with a strong work ethic, which holds him in good stead when it comes to championing his clients and their desired finance solutions. Scott sits down with business owners and stakeholders and takes the time to understand what they do, how they do it and the products and/or services they offer. He is passionate about educating clients about the financial positions of their businesses and the bank products available to them in relation to their lending goals. He positions himself as a long-term confidant and trusted adviser and utilises his extensive banking network to ensure that the right finance solution is found for each of his clients.

Scott earned his Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation in 2019 and was crowned the MFAA Commercial Broker of the Year for Victoria/Tasmania in 2020. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, hiking, snowboarding and skiing.
